For “Dharma Art Day” this year we will focus on drawing as meditation. In drawing, we have an opportunity to set aside our egos while becoming one with the object. It will not be an art class per se, and no prior drawing experience is required. What is asked for is our willingness to deeply observe, connect our eyes with our hearts and hands, and open to whatever may emerge. This mostly silent day will include periods of meditation and movement. Weather permitting, we will work outdoors.
Led by sangha members Karen Hamilton and Barb Baccei.
