DESCRIPTION:We will resume this program as soon as it is safe for us to meet in person at the Sacramento Dharma Center.  Meanwhile\, please be safe and practice social distancing with a compassionate heart. You may enjoy online instruction at SotoZEN-Net. \n\nOn the second Monday of each month\, we offer a 40-minute introduction to Zen practice.  We focus on the art of sitting meditation\, with emphasis on posture\, breath\, and methods for\, and problems encountered when  we try to corral our attention.  This is for new meditators and those wishing to refresh their practice of meditative immersion.  As time allows\, we demonstrate forms of practice used in the meditation hall. The class meets in the Teacher Room in the West Lobby.

To receive the Meeting ID# and password for each meeting\, please Sign Up for our Weekly Emails. \n*To join the meeting by computer\, you must install Zoom software: \n\nSign Up for Weekly Emails to receive each Meeting ID#\nPrior to the meeting\, download the free Zoom Client for Meetings (13 MB)  As you “Wait for the host to start the meeting” click the Test Computer Audio button to make sure you can hear and be heard by others.\nDownload the chants in PDF.\nAt 6:50 pm\, join the meeting at: https://zoom.us/j/[Meeting ID]\nIf you cannot download or run the application\, you can join from your browser.
