SUMMARY:Dharma Talk by So-On Jim Hare (in-person & online)
DESCRIPTION:So-On Jim Hare  serves as Tanto\, or head of practice. He lived in the San Francisco Zen Center community from 1980 to 1984\, and was lay ordained by Tenshin Reb Anderson in 1985. He served as Head Student at Green Gulch Farm during the spring 2002 practice period. He was priest ordained by Myo Lahey in 2016. \n  \n\nAs of July 1\, we invite everyone to return to in-person attendance. We strongly encourage everyone to be vaccinated for Covid-19.  Consistent with CDC guidance\, we will not require masks for vaccinated people.  However\, we encourage mask-wearing by anyone who feels more comfortable doing so. Should any unvaccinated person choose to attend in person\, we strongly encourage you to wear a mask for your own protection. We will continue to offer a Zoom or Livestream option for people who live far from the zendo or who choose not to attend in person for any reason.
