A Practice Circle: Exploring the Many Faces of Compassion Through Listening Together to our Experiences and Reflections. Rhonda Mcgee wrote: “Compassion is the will, the wherewithal, and the motivation to actually do something to assist in alleviating suffering, whether it’s our own or others. We need compassion that embraces our own suffering – self-compassion. And we need compassion that embraces the suffering of others – other-regarding compassion.”
